Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: May 2026

VPNPicker.com participates in affiliate marketing programmes. This means we earn a commission when you purchase a VPN service through links on our site — at no additional cost to you.

We believe in full transparency about how we make money, and how (or whether) that affects our content.

How affiliate commissions work

When you click a link to a VPN provider on VPNPicker.com and subsequently make a purchase, the VPN provider pays us a referral commission. The price you pay is identical whether you arrive through our link or go directly to the provider's website.

We currently have affiliate relationships with: NordVPN, PureVPN, HideMy.name, TurboVPN, and Mysterium VPN.

How commissions affect our content

✓ Our editorial pledge

  • Commission rates do not influence our rankings. VPNs are ranked solely on real test data.
  • We have given lower scores to higher-paying VPNs when the product didn't earn a better score.
  • We include honest cons for every VPN — including our top-ranked ones — regardless of affiliate relationships.
  • We disclose privacy concerns even for VPNs we earn from — see our TurboVPN review for an example.
  • Our methodology is published publicly so you can verify how scores are calculated.

Identifying affiliate links

All affiliate links on VPNPicker.com are marked with rel="sponsored" in the HTML. "Get [VPN name]" buttons and links to VPN provider websites are affiliate links. Internal links (to our own review pages, guides, etc.) are not affiliate links.

FTC compliance

This disclosure complies with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255). We are required to clearly disclose any material connection to the products we review or recommend.
